STAR & DAGGER EP Release Party at Peasant Wine Bar in NYC

Last Hurrah Records graciously hosted a small but vibrant gathering at Peasant Wine Bar in NYC to celebrate Star & Dagger's 3 song vinyl release "In My Blood". DJ Morgan Liebman brought the metal to entertain discerning guests. Among them Don Jamieson (VH1 Classic "That Metal Show"), actor Adrian Grenier ("Entourage"), Today Show's Chassie Post, members of the metal Bee Gees Tribute band "Tragedy",  "Supagroup's" Chris Lee, "Upper Crust's" Nat Freedberg, ASCAP's Alexandra Lioutikoff, music industry adept Garrett Schaefer, Atlantic Records' Torsten Luth, photographer Leslie Van Stelten & stylist Jet Olivia (who shot the forthcoming Star & Dagger album cover), Damien Paris of the Giraffes, photographer/Serious Eats writer Nick Solares, Lori Yorkman (Prissteens), Minetta Tavern Chef Riad Nasr, Glenn Schiller & his lovely wife Susie Augustyn, Harvey and Millie Tanton of Tanton & Co. LLC, and other great guests. The event was also a debut listening for the new 10 song LP Tomorrowland Blues, no word as of yet what label will be releasing this...check here for details as they come in. Chef Frank De Carlo cannot be exalted enough for the absolutely amazing food that was served. Jamie the lead singer of Royal Starlings served up drinks, by the way Frank De Carlo also plays drums in this band with Jamie and they are set to record soon plus they are not to be missed live!

STAR & DAGGER will be at FORBIDDEN PLANET Jan 19,2012

Hey NYC: Get your strange self over to Forbidden Planet on Thur Jan 19. Star & Dagger will be autographing the Last Hurrah Records "blood dipped" vinyl EP. Also authors Chad Hensley (Esoterra: Journal of Extreme Culture) and Shade Rupe (Dark Stars Rising) will be signing their respective and fascinating books!
